Save the Date! The 2012 Legislative Conference will take place Sept. 9-11 at the Fairmont Hotel, Washington, DC. Registration will open this spring. A select number of scholarships for fellows in training (FITs), cardiac care associates (CCAs) and practice administrators will be available.
The 2012 conference will provide a unique opportunity to hear first-hand from members of Congress, Capitol Hill staff and other policymakers about key issues ranging from payment reform to new models of care delivery. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with congressional leaders and share the many ways the cardiovascular community can and is working to transform the new health care system into one that puts patients first and rewards physicians and other care providers for their commitment to quality, cost-effective, evidence-based care.
